KONSTANDIN is now 100% climate neutral
HEAT PUMP · HEAT RECOVERY
In times of rising energy costs and growing environmental awareness, the use of renewable energies is increasingly coming into focus. With an investment of 200,000 Euros, KONSTANDIN already invested in a modern heat pump in 2023, aiming not only to save costs in the long term but also to make a significant contribution to environmental protection.
Furthermore, compressors connected to the heating system ensure an even better energy balance through heat recovery.
These measures save 25,000 – 30,000 liters of heating oil annually, which is equivalent to a saving of approximately 80 – 100 tons of CO2.
GREEN ELECTRICITY from March 1, 2024
Meanwhile, the company fleet has been almost completely converted to hybrid or purely electric drives, and the eight necessary charging stations have been installed, which are operated with 100% green electricity.
In addition, the company produces clean electricity through its own photovoltaic system.
Achieving the goal of 100% climate neutrality requires decisive action. By utilizing these energy sources, not only can climate change be combated, but energy independence can also be strengthened, and air and water quality improved.
A Step Towards Sustainability
Green electricity is generated from renewable energy sources such as sun, wind, water, and biomass.
Unlike conventional electricity, which is often produced from fossil fuels like
coal or crude oil, green electricity significantly reduces environmental impact and does not contribute to
the exacerbation of climate change.
Furthermore, the use of green electricity supports the expansion and further development of renewable energies.
The increasing demand for green electricity drives investments in new wind and solar farms
as well as in innovative technologies for utilizing renewable energies. In this way, everyone
who switches to green electricity makes a direct contribution to the energy transition and climate protection.
